As the Senior Director of Strategic Accounts, you will lead a high-performing team focused on supporting and growing relationships with many of Kyocera’s most strategic customers. This role is responsible for driving new business growth, maximizing customer retention, and fostering long-term partnerships that deliver mutual value. The Senior Director sets the vision and strategy for account management, ensures excellence in sales execution, and collaborates closely with Dealers, Service, Marketing, and Executive Leadership to align resources and achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities

+         Review existing account base and analyze market data to determine ideal customer size, industry vertical, and geography based on current Kyocera resources and capabilities.

+         Hire and lead a team of Strategic Account Executives by providing guidance and direction to achieve assigned objectives.

+         Lead a team of Solutions Architects and make sure they are an integrated part of the strategic account engine, ensuring their technical expertise directly supports growth, retention, and customer value. This includes validating technical feasibility, identifying risks early, and ensuring solution design aligns with customer requirements and timelines.

+         Utilize Kyocera CRM and Power BI reports to track funnel growth, opportunity engagement and strong sales activity.

+         Drive forecast accuracy and embrace Kyocera’s monthly forecast methodology.

+         Present Quarterly Business Review to Executive Leadership team.

+         Identify, Track, and achieve specific Strategic KPI’s.

+         Work closely with the Kyocera National Account Center to ensure strong customer support, device deployment, and post award support.

+         Generate and grow Strategic Account Sales by personally contacting, presenting Kyocera products, and closing sales within the targeted Accounts when required.

+         Identify and maintain a Target List of prospects and leads, including OMNIA Private Sector, State Contracts, and GPOs.

+         Manage current contract relationships, attend mandatory review and bid meetings. Provide updates on new products, technology changes, and pricing initiatives. 

+         Responsible for the coordination, fact gathering, and analysis of the bids and RFPs within assigned target markets and provides necessary input to HQ to respond accordingly.

Qualifications

+         Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the office product industry

+         Minimum of 2 years’ experience in major, national, or government account sales

+         Previous experience successfully managing a sales team

+         Excellent verbal and written communication skills required

+         Ability to travel up to 50%

+         Valid driver’s license

 

Preferred:

+         Bachelor’s degree

+         2 years’ experience in major, national or government account sales within the office product industry.

The typical pay range for this role is $152,000 -$190,000. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. This position may include a discretionary bonus based on performance. description.
