As a Senior Director, Brand & Channel Marketing you will be the strategic leader responsible for advancing Kyocera’s unified brand presence, partner engagement, and corporate communications strategy. This role oversees Brand Management, Internal and External Communications, Channel Marketing, and Field Marketing — ensuring a cohesive brand narrative and consistent execution across all markets.

Brand Management
+ Lead the development and evolution of Kyocera’s brand strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate purpose, values, and growth objectives.
+ Oversee brand identity, positioning, and expression across all communications and experiences.
+ Ensure brand governance and consistency across all regions and channels.
+ Collaborate with agency partners to deliver innovative, on-brand creative that drives awareness and differentiation.
+ Supervise the Brand Manager to develop campaigns and content that elevate brand engagement and loyalty.
+ Communications (Internal & External)
+ Develop and lead a unified communications strategy encompassing corporate, media, executive, and internal communications.
+ Drive proactive public relations, media engagement, and thought leadership initiatives to enhance brand reputation.
+ Oversee internal communications, ensuring employees are informed, connected, and inspired through consistent messaging and active intranet engagement.
+ Partner with senior leadership to craft and deliver strategic messaging for major company updates, launches, and internal campaigns.
Channel Marketing
+ Lead the development and execution of the overall channel marketing strategy for both the Dealer Channel and Direct Channel, driving engagement, enablement, and business growth.
+ Enhance Kyocera’s Partnership Program through optimized incentives, MDF utilization, and co-marketing initiatives that support sales objectives.
+ Partner closely with Sales leadership using Microsoft Dynamics to share insights, monitor partner performance, and communicate marketing initiatives.
+ Plan and execute large-scale conferences to showcase new products, communicate corporate direction, and strengthen relationships with dealers and direct partners.
+ Design and manage incentive trips and loyalty programs to recognize and motivate top-performing partners and sales teams.
+ Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Sales, and Corporate Brand teams to align channel strategies with go-to-market priorities.
Field Marketing
+ Oversee all regional and partner-facing marketing initiatives, including roadshows, partner events, and localized brand activations.
+ Supervise the Product and Sales Training Program, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and enablement for partners and field teams.
+ Gather voice-of-the-field insights through surveys and feedback to continuously enhance programs and messaging.
Key Objectives & Success Metrics
+ Strengthen Kyocera’s brand equity and ensure consistent execution across all communication and marketing channels.
+ Improve partner satisfaction and engagement through impactful, data-informed channel and field marketing programs.
+ Increase awareness, reach, and impact of brand and communications initiatives across both internal and external audiences.
+ Enhance collaboration between Marketing, Sales, and Product to drive go-to-market efficiency and success.
+ Foster agile, cross-functional teamwork that accelerates marketing execution and measurable business results.
Supervisory responsibilities
+ Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary team across Brand Management, Communications, Channel Marketing, and Field Marketing.
+ Oversee agency and vendor relationships, ensuring creative quality, operational excellence, and on-brand execution.
+ Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies, including hiring, coaching, development, and performance management.
+ Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement through Agile and Scrum practices.
Required:
+ Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or related field; MBA preferred.
+ Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in B2B marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
+ Proven success leading Brand, Communications, and Channel Marketing teams in complex organizations.
+ Experience leading teams and projects using Agile and Scrum methodologies — mandatory.
+ Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Product, and Executive teams.
+ Expertise in planning and delivering large-scale events, incentive programs, and partner conferences.
+ Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
+ Strong organizational and time-management skills with a focus on driving results and developing talent.
The typical pay range for this role is $174,000 -$217,000. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
