As a Coordinator, Accounts Receivable your customers are both KDSW customers as well as your fellow co-workers.  It is important to maintain excellent customer service representation for both groups.

Responsibilities

·       Ensure that invoices are prepared and sent to customers in a timely and accurate manner, based on sales orders and contracts.

·       Monitor customer accounts to ensure that payments are correctly applied and received in a timely fashion.

·       Utilize various communication channels, such as phone calls, emails, and letters, to follow up with customers and collect outstanding payments.

·       Investigate and resolve any payment discrepancies or disputes in a professional and timely manner.

·       Work closely with the sales team and other internal stakeholders to address customer concerns and ensure that issues are resolved promptly.

·       Keep accurate records of customer interactions and transaction details within the accounting system.

·       Distribute monthly statements to customers to keep them informed of their outstanding balances.

·       Generate financial reports related to accounts receivable, including aging reports, cash collections, and bad debt analysis.

·       Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities by preparing reconciliations and reports for management.

Qualifications

·       Minimum 2 years’ Accounts Receivable experience.

·       Familiarity with entry-level accounting.

·       Eye for detail, accuracy is imperative.

·       Ability to work with all levels of management.

·       Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve payment discrepancies or issues.

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·       Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel computerized accounting systems.

·       Ability to be an effective team member.

·       Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks and to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

·       Must be able to lift 10 pounds.

·       Physical requirements include sitting, bending, light lifting and filing.

 

Preferred:

·       Bachelor's degree in business or minimum 2 years’ accounting experience.

 

 

The typical pay range for this role is $53,000-$70,000. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
