As a Senior Manager, Segment Strategy, you lead the crafting and execution of a comprehensive end-to-end strategy for the Education and State & Local segments, encompassing hardware, software, document workflow solutions & services. This is a unique opportunity to influence and shape how Kyocera serves Education institutions and State and Local Government organizations through innovative and efficient document workflow solutions.

+ Build and execute a comprehensive strategic plan for the Education and State & Local segments, focusing on document workflow solutions, including printing hardware, software applications, workflow automation solutions and services, aligning with Kyocera’s overall business objectives.
+ Collaborate with product development teams to ensure the document workflow solutions meet the specific needs of education institutions and state & local government organizations.
+ Analyze and recommend improvements to paper and digital workflows, leveraging Kyocera’s portfolio of MFPs and document workflow software to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
+ Provide training, tools, and support to the sales team, equipping them with the knowledge and resources needed to effectively address the demands of the targeted segments.
+ Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the Education and State & Local segments to understand their unique challenges and offer tailored solutions.
+ Identify opportunities for growth and innovation within the Education and State & Local segments, including partnerships, technology advancements, and workflow improvements.
+ Monitor and analyze industry trends, regulatory changes, and customer feedback to refine the Education and State & Local segment strategy continually.
+ Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and technical teams to ensure alignment in delivering comprehensive solutions and achieving business objectives.
+ Manage budgets and allocate resources effectively to ensure the successful execution of Education and State & Local segment strategies and initiatives.
+ Ensure compliance with industry standards, policies, and regulations specific to the Education and State & Local segments.
+ Act as a thought leader and advocate within the technology industry, representing the company's expertise in the education institutions and state & local government organizations at conferences, webinars, and other events.
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
+ 5+ years of experience in a similar role or within the document workflow or office technology industry.
+ Deep knowledge of hardware and software ecosystems, particularly as they pertain to document workflow solutions.
+ Proven understanding of paper and digital workflow optimization in education and state & local government sectors.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate customer needs into actionable strategies and solutions.
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
+ Experience in market research, competitive analysis, and strategic planning.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The typical pay range for this role is $106,000 - $132,000. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. This position may include a discretionary bonus based on performance.
