As the Incident Response Manager, you will be responsible for developing a structured company wide and cross-departmental approach to IT and non-IT incident response encompassing preparation, detection, analysis, containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident activities. Your purpose is to minimize damage caused by incidents such as data breaches, system failures, or non-IT events to ensure overall business continuity.

In this role, you will have the ability to make significant and long-lasting impacts on the entire KDA organization by advancing our resilience and response to cyber threats.  As a result, you will be one of the critical change agents within KDA.

 

This role is critical to ensuring the organization’s ability to anticipate, withstand, and recover from disruptions. Responsibilities

Incident Management

+      Establish incident response plans outlining the procedures for handling cyber and various other types of incidents including Identification, Categorization, Prioritization, Response, and Closure.

+      Support identification of incidents through the monitoring of automated alerts, user reports and monitoring systems.

+      Lead enterprise-wide incident response planning and execution, including cross-functional coordination during crises.

+      Activate incident response team responsible for analyzing and responding to the incident.

+      Serve as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders during a cyber crisis.

+      Continuously evaluate and improve all incident documentation, plans, escalation protocols, roles and responsibilities, and security programs based on lessons learned and post-incident analysis.

+      Assist with training employees in incident reporting and overall security awareness.

+      Organize and lead routine incident simulations to evaluate company preparedness and continuously improve company response plans.

+      Update security policies and procedures as appropriate.

 

Security Posture & Risk Management

+      Collaborate with IT Security, Infrastructure, and Compliance teams to improve strategies, policies, and procedures that enhance and mature the organization's resilience, response and security posture.

+      Work closely with IT leadership and cybersecurity teams to support and improve cybersecurity programs, defenses, vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and remediation efforts.

+      Support the development and execution of an overall enterprise Business Continuity and Security strategy.

+      Serve as the subject matter expert for Incident Management (IcM), Business Continuity (BC), Disaster Recovery (DR), and Risk Management frameworks.

+      Participate in third-party risk assessments.

+      Define the IT Change Management Process and Procedures and Chair the IT Change Advisory Board (CAB) to ensure secure, compliant and successful change management practices for all types of IT production changes.

+      Provide regular reporting to executive leadership on risk posture, readiness metrics, and improvement initiatives.

 

Qualifications

Required:

+         Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, with Information Systems, Information Security, Risk Management, or related field.

+         5+ years of in-depth experience in IT incident management, cybersecurity risk management, and technologies.

Preferred:

Certifications

+         CBCP, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent
