This role will be part of our Business Intelligence team, reporting to the Sr. Application Product Manager of Business Intelligence. We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to help lead our enterprise data initiatives and deliver actionable insights across the organization. This role will play a key part in advancing our data platform using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. You will work closely with business and technical teams to transform complex data from systems like Oracle E-Business Suite into scalable, user-friendly analytics solutions. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and a mentoring mindset to support other developers and elevate our BI capabilities.

+ Translate business requirements into effective BI solutions and technical specifications.
+ Build and manage ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate data from Oracle EBS and other systems, with the help of our engineers.
+ Develop, test, and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards that support data-driven decision-making.
+ Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all reporting and analytics solutions.
+ Optimize data performance, query efficiency, and reporting workflows.
+ Lead code reviews and mentor BI team members on development best practices.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reporting aligns with operational and strategic needs.
+ Maintain technical documentation, including data dictionaries, process workflows, and metadata.
+ Promote the adoption of self-service analytics and contribute to data governance efforts.
+ Stay informed on emerging technologies and promote continuous improvement within the BI function
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
+ 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data warehousing, or analytics roles.
+ Strong experience with Power BI including advanced DAX and interactive dashboard development.
+ Proficiency in T-SQL and PL/SQL for querying and data manipulation in MS SQL Server and Oracle databases.
+ Hands-on experience designing and building ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration workflows.
+ Experience working with Oracle E-Business Suite and MS SQL data structures, especially Finance and Supply Chain modules.
+ Strong data modeling skills, including dimensional models and star schemas.
+ Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
+ Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor other developers.
+ Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and a drive for quality and efficiency.
+ Attendance at Kyocera’s headquarters office in Fairfield, NJ per current work policies is required.
+ Company paid relocation is not provided to the Fairfield, NJ office. The candidate must self-relocate.
Preferred:
+ Experience working with Microsoft Fabric or similar modern data platforms.
+ Familiarity with DevOps practices and version control tools in a BI context.
+ Exposure to data governance frameworks and metadata management.
+ Certifications related to Power BI, data engineering, or analytics are a plus.
+ Knowledge of financial and sales reporting concepts.
+ Experience with agile development methodologies.
