As a Furniture Installer/Delivery Driver, you will focus on the transportation and assembly of office furniture, ensuring timely and efficient delivery. Proficient in assembling and setting up furniture to create a functional and seamless workspace for customers.
+ Works with Design team to build and install office furniture systems.
+ Delivers office furniture and equipment to customers within the Mid-Atlantic Region.
+ Must be mechanically inclined and able to read floor plans and follow instructions.
+ Load/unload heavy office furniture and equipment onto and off truck.
+ Uncrating, assembling, installing and repairing furniture in customers’ offices.
+ Troubleshooting and resolving any assembly issues or defects.
+ Tracking and assisting with inventory.
+ Operating a variety of tools and fitting parts to join the products correctly and accurately.
+ Sometimes requires operating a lift truck and stair climber.
+ Organizing and cleaning warehouses to include collapsing boxes and loading waste bins as needed.
+ Assembles new machines for delivery as needed.
+ Maintains vehicle cleanliness.
+ High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
+ One-year prior related experience.
+ Ability to lift 100 pounds.
+ Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
+ Ability to write simple correspondence.
+ Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
+ Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Required:
+ Clean Driving Record.
+ Able to pass DOT Health Physical.
