As an Senior Director, Finance Operations, you report directly to the CFO. The role is responsible for leading and managing America’s subsidiaries including the supervision of staff and the achievement of financial outcomes that meet client needs. Responsibilities

+ Responsibility for all aspects of finances for the 10 subsidiaries in the US.
+ Lead on the recruitment, performance evaluation, and training of finance staff
+ Develop and amend structure and capability aligned with the volume of transactions.
+ Assess monthly cash-flow needs and communicate cash requests.
+ Responsible for all financial processes’ activities including AR/Credit, contract management, for expense management, accounts payable, expense, procurement, and treasury.
+ Build a culture of continuous improvement that ensures process flows and standard operating procedures are both kept current and reviewed by all staff and stakeholders and constantly enhanced and improved.
+ Define and agree SLAs with key stakeholders, including KPIs, and manage performance for all stakeholders.
+ Increase the operational effectiveness and efficiency to help Kyocera scale up and down as new M&A and divestments are done.
+ As a part of the finance leadership team, you will contribute to the continuous finance transformation.
+ Provide technical accounting advisory as required to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and IFRS requirements.
+ Be a liaison between HQ and subsidiaries
+ Internal Control framework implementation experience

 

Qualifications

Required:
+ BS in Accounting/Finance with 10 years minimum experience in a senior finance position.
+ CPA, ACCA, CMA, ACMA qualified
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Intermediate to Advanced Excel
+ Working Knowledge of IFRS and US GAPP
+ Ability to deep dive quickly into all financial topics incl. financing instruments, company law, international tax regulations, etc.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
+ Extensive record of successful workforce, financial and resource management >30 staff.
+ Proven solution oriented & systems thinker
+ Excellent communicator with proven experience
+ Ability to regularly travel.
