As a Master Data Management Analyst, you will be a member of a coalition of cross-functional personnel to define, maintain, and enhance our Master Data Management (MDM) processes, initiatives, and data quality across the entire enterprise. In this role, you will be accountable for the execution of MDM processes and best practices to improve our overall data quality and management.

Responsibilities

+      Work collaboratively to document, maintain, and communicate master data policies, processes, standards, access controls, RACI, Metrics/KPIs, SLA’s, training, and quality procedures.

+      Document data dictionaries, hierarchies, classifications, definitions, attributes, sources, and mappings between upstream and downstream teams and systems.

+      Work collaboratively with data stewards to harmonize and clean existing master data in disparate systems in accordance with the master data roadmaps and project plans.

+      Train data stewards and IT personnel on master data policies, processes, and programs to ensure data accuracy and completeness.

+      Perform master data creation and maintenance requests related to special MDM projects.

+      Report on the overall health of data across all systems compared to data quality standards and metrics.

+      Proactively diagnose and manage high-risk issues by reviewing and identifying operational improvements to ensure that data is handled and processed accurately.

+      Conduct special analyses and/or studies to ensure quality standards are met including data governance and audit requirements.

+      Collaborate and partner with internal and external personnel to obtain information to resolve issues.

+      Provides data architecture support across various projects to ensure new systems and system changes adhere to the overall MDM Strategy and Roadmap.

+      Works with IT, BI architects, and application product owners to develop detailed technical architecture patterns for Master Data initiatives and system coherence.

+      Develop and maintain productive relationships with business users, IT members, and management.

Qualifications

Required:

+      2+ years of data management/analysis experience including extensive knowledge of database schemas, data dictionaries, field mappings, data sensitivity, data security, data flows, process analysis, etc.

+      2+ years of experience with ERP systems such as Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion, SAP Hana, etc.

+      2+ years of experience in multiple areas of MDM including Data Profiling, metadata acquisition, data migration, validation, and automation.

+      2+ years of experience with documenting and mapping data definitions, attributes, structures, and flows between upstream and downstream systems and processes.

+      Demonstrated ability to structure and solve ambiguous and business challenges.

+      Demonstrated ability to deliver on multiple projects.

+      Good organization and multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage multiple data activities.

+      Skilled at active listening, written and verbal communication.

+      Excellent analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, time management, and communication skills.

+      High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).

+      Must be highly organized and self-motivated.

+      Critical thinking, analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving expertise.

+      BS in a related field, and/or extensive work experience.

+      Attendance at Kyocera’s headquarters office in Fairfield, NJ per current work policies is required.

+      Company-paid relocation is not provided to the Fairfield, NJ office. The candidate must self-relocate.

 

Preferred:

+      Experience with MDM tools.

+      Advanced Excel (XLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Etc)

+      Moderate Coding Skills (SQL, Python)
