As a Channel Marketing Director, you will drive the strategic development and tactical implementation for the company’s Channel Marketing activities. The position will interface with internal stakeholders including senior leadership and the Sales Team in the development of the overall partner marketing strategy, from recruitment and onboarding of new partners to management of partner programs and activities.

Responsibilities

+         Development of new programs for the channel (i.e.: Rebates, Incentives, Special Pricing Programs, etc) to open new channels and help partners to grow within an existing program.

+         Enhancement of the Kyocera’s Partnership Program for Dealers. Assess current program components (i.e.: MDF, SPIFF, Customer Service) and find ways to optimize them.

+         Works with other parts of the Marketing team to develop tactical communications, including but not limited to collateral, email, talking points, presentations, fact sheets, web site copy, and more.

+         Manage the Channel Sales CRM within Hubspot so Kyocera’s Sales Reps can monitor partner’s performance and assess them regularly for sales and revenue growth in order to manage the channel efficiently. This includes the creation of tasks for Sales Reps, launch of Surveys and Announcements, build custom reports, etc.

+         Design and organize events, trade shows and other promotional events to promote Kyocera’s products and services. This includes the management of the Kyocera Engagement Program, an annual program where executives meet with partners every month to gather feedback and communicate updates. This program is a whole experience that requires of good doses of communication and creativity.

+         Management of the Field Marketing Team that includes the design and implementation of training programs for our partners so they can understand Kyocera’s portfolio and gain the knowledge on new features and value propositions.

+         Develop and manage a Dealer Onboarding program so new partners who want to work with Kyocera get onboarded in a consistent way.

+         Gathers voice of the field through surveys and focus groups on a regular basis.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities

 

Supervises assigned employee(s) within the Channel Marketing team and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies. These responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; conducting performance and salary reviews; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; coaching, mentoring, and developing team members to further their skills and knowledge; creating and monitoring development plans; setting performance expectations/goals; forecasting staffing needs and planning for peak times and absences; enforcing department policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Required:

 

+         Bachelor's degree with a major or emphasis in Marketing, Communications or related field. MBA preferred.

+         Minimum 10 years of experience in B2B marketing required. Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role required.

+         Channel marketing experience in a different industry is a plus. We embrace change and new ideas enthusiastically.

+         Experience working with in-house sales team a plus.

+         Experience in leading and managing large, complex projects. This role requires to plan projects using Scrum and Agile and be able to map processes efficiently. 

+         Experience with data, measurement, and analytics competency preferred. The candidate must be proficient with Excel.

+         Superb leadership, communication, and collaboration capabilities.

+         Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
