As a Regional Operations Manager, you will define the strategy to enable the delivery of technology solutions to our customers.  Work collaboratively to review and provide feedback on solution architecture and determine customer delivery requirements. Lead and mentor a regional team of field and system engineers. Ensure delivery is on-time and within budget to maximize customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

+       In collaboration with the relevant stakeholders, define the strategy to enable the delivery of technology solutions including, but not limited to: Cloud/Data Center, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, Collaboration, Security, End User Services, Document and Content Management, and Networking

+       Define and engage with key strategic OEM partners across our portfolio to develop engineering talent and capabilities in support of the business.

+       Work with peers in presales and sales to ensure proper enablement and alignment on GP and customer service goals.

+       Facilitate regular delivery and process enablement through content creation and training activities.

+       Create and manage the technical skills capacity plan for engineering functions to support local business.

+       Provide regional subject management expertise to aid in the development and implementation solution go-to-market plans and ensure execution.

+       Support strategic deals and client engagement practices and mentor local and regional teams, providing subject matter expertise on RFPs/RFIs

+       Guide regions to deliver services engagements focused on monthly recurring revenue, managed services, professional services, and consulting services.

+       Perform capacity planning and personnel development for project management, delivery, and field engineering resources.

+       Align with regional sales teams and facilitate resource assignment and manage escalations.

+       Work closely with associated regional practice teams to ensure proper scoping of services to maintain service profitability and alignment with delivery policies.

+       Monitor and report on weekly, monthly, and quarterly billing and service forecasts and backlog reporting as well as overall financial reporting for their geographies.

+       Actively provide input and feedback to corporate senior management regarding market conditions, end user business requirements, vertical market trends and new market/new dealer partner opportunities.

+       Create and maintain accurate and timely reports as established by department management.

+       Cultivate and manage a set of subcontractors to enable timely delivery of projects on time and within budget.

+       Ensure all objectives and targets are met, including long-term and time-based objectives for the Corporation.

+       Develop and monitor KPIs to ensure field and sales engineers are providing a  great customer experience and executing efficiency and effectively. 

Qualifications

Required:

+       Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Technology, or related field preferred.

+       At least 5 years’ experience in a management role preferred with 5 direct reports.

+       7- 10 years’ experience as a field or system engineer in service delivery

+       Experience managing people, both directly, and in a heavily matrixed environment

+       Experience working with sales teams and aligning with sales leadership to deliver IT and DM solutions.

+       Experience in building teams through hiring, personal development, and leadership.

+       Demonstrated success of business development, pipeline management, and success in influencing additional pull-through business

+       Able to travel 30% of the time.

+       Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.

 

Technical Experience

+       Proficient with Windows Server admin – Active Directory and Group Policy

+       Experienced with Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD)

+       Documented success with data and server migrations (local and cloud)

+       Intermediate network skills: Experience with DNS, VLANs, TCP/IP. Network security mindset

+       Experience with Microsoft Office including Microsoft® Visio, Word, and Excel, PowerPoint

 

Certification Desired:

+       CompTIA – Network+, Security+

+       Cisco - CCNA

+       Other Security Certs – CEH, CCSP

+       Azure Certs: Fundamentals, Network Engineer Associate, Security Engineer Associate, Solutions Architect Expert.

The typical pay range for this role is $123,000.00-$155,000.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
