As a Manager, Compensation you will be responsible for the planning, development and implementation of compensation programs, policies, and procedures to align with KDA’s goals.  You will work with internal stakeholders to ensure that our compensation programs are consistently administered and follow internal policies and procedures, and in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.  You have a knack for numbers, analysis and staying up to date on compensation best practices to foster continuous improvement so that the organization can remain competitive.

Responsibilities

+     Manage the development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs including salary and incentive pay.

+     Manage the preparation and administration of the annual compensation proposal cycle.

+     Provide advice on pay decisions, policy interpretation and job evaluations.

+     Partner with HR leadership and Benefits team to develop a competitive total rewards strategy.

+     Evaluate effectiveness of existing programs and recommend modifications to maintain competitiveness.

+     Key track of prevailing pay rates and ensure we offer competitive compensation plans. Monitor internal and external equity.

+     Evaluate and modify existing compensation policies and procedures. Develop new procedures as needed. 

+     Work with external compensation firm on the ongoing maintenance of pay structures and salary bands.  Partner with vendor on the updating of the annual analysis.

+     Prepare data for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, and internal and external audits.

+     Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

+     Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, human resources, finance, or related field and minimum 4 years’ experience managing compensation program.

+     Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations and compliance requirements related to employee compensation.

+     Advanced Excel and analytical skills. Ability to interpret and communicate data in a practical and actionable way. Exceptional presentation skills.

+     Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with senior management.

+     Previous experience creating custom reports from HRIS such as ADP WorkforceNow 

+     Ability to manage and safeguard sensitive and confidential information.

 

Preferred:

+     HR or compensation certifications

+     Previous experience in a sales company
