As a Parts Coordinator, you will be responsible for performing PSI operations for Kyocera Document Solutions America (KDA) and KDA Sales Companies (Canada, Mexico, Brazil and Chile), performing supply chain operations between overseas plants (Hong Kong, China, Vietnam, etc.) by collaborating with parent company in Japan (KDC). You will be responsible for performing overall process related to Sales Operations Department for KDA’s internal organization, KDA’s Sales Companies (Canada, Mexico, Brazil and Chile) and parent company in Japan (KDC).

Responsibilities

PSI:

+         Place emergency orders for backordered items to KDC after daily analysis.

+         Manage inventory and backorders knowing Parts’ trend and characteristic.

+         Build and report sales forecast to KDC.

+         Manage PSI and monthly orders for KDA’s Sales Companies (Canada, Mexico, Brazil and Chile)

+         Analize to purchase discontinued and new model items

+         Maintain Open PO to KDC to avoid any late shipments and any discrepancy in each PO.

+         Perform other related duties assigned by the Manager.

 

Supply Chain Management:

+         Monitor import shipments from Kyocera’s oversea plants (HK, CN, VN and Japan) for PO placed to KDC.

+         Maintain and arrange ETA of backordered items and items increased demand with KDC.

+         Analize the lead-time for ocean transportation for PSI.

+         Process to return/ship items for technical issues to Kyocera’s oversea Plants (HK, CN, VN and Japan).

+         Perform other related duties assigned by the Manger.

 

Overall Process related to Sales Operations:

+         Process monthly warranty credit claim from Japan for KDA and KDA’s Sales Companies.

+         Support requests from KDA’s internal organizations, KDA’s Sales Companies, and KDC.

+         Provide other related support such as pricing set up, report creations and data analysis.

+         Perform other related duties assigned by the Manager.

 

Relationships:

+         Work closely with KDC.

+         Daily interaction with KDA’s internal organizations such as Technical, Logistics, Customer Service, IT and KDA’s Sales Companies (Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and Chile).

+         Regular interaction with Venders, Forwarders, and Brokers.

Qualifications

Required:

+         Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of supply chain management or inventory management experience.

+         Solid knowledge of inventory control principles, including sales forecasting, purchasing, and order fulfillment.

+         Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including the ability to perform complex data analysis, create dynamic spreadsheets, and utilize advanced functions and formulas. Advanced experience with PivotTable and VLOOKUP/VLOOKUP a must.

+         Experience in ERP including Oracle.

+         Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and analyze data from various sources, develop hypothesis, and problem-solve complex business issues.  

+         Strong Time Management and Project Management.

+         Excellent people skills enabling collaboration, innovation, coordination, and influence across organizations.

+         Ability to work and interact with all levels of management/departments.

+         Self-directed with the ability to work independently.

 

Preferred:

+         Knowledge and experience with VBA.

+         Experience with supply chain management systems such as SAP, JDA, Oracle, etc.

+         Experience in project management and leading process improvement initiatives.

+         Bilingual Japanese/English (Fluent Speaking and Writing)
