As a Field Technology Sales Consultant your primary goal is to grow our business-to-business sales. This is achieved by selling and being the leader/provider of computer-connectable document imaging and document management systems, including network-ready digital MFPs/printers, laser printers, color MFPs/printers, wide format and production imaging solutions. KYOCERA Document Solutions America is a group company of KYOCERA Document Solutions Inc., a core company of the Kyocera Corporation, the world's leading developer and manufacturer of advanced ceramics and associated products, including telecommunications equipment, semiconductor packages, electronic components and solar energy systems.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales revenue and market share by managing yourself in a defined territory, named accounts or vertical market to achieve targeted revenue plan.
  • Prospect new clients through cold calling and warm lead generation.
  • Research potential clients to present the right solutions and successfully sell digital office equipment, software solutions and IT services.
  • Consult with clients and prospects to understand their strategic vision, tactical objectives and potential needs, while aligning our products and services to address their business needs.
  • Upsell and leverage business from new and established customer relationships.
  • Engage resources to effectively manage complex sales cycles to bring them to closure.
  • Develop strong relationships with C’ Level contacts and create a communication plan to   drive continuity and deliver high levels of client experience.
  • Prepare and effectively present Proposals, conduct product demonstrations, negotiating the terms of the sale, and ensure that the client’s satisfaction is very high with the overall buying experience. 
  • Conduct monthly/quarterly business reviews to assess additional needs and ensure that SLAs are being met to their satisfaction.
  • Stay current with trends and competitors to identify gaps/improvements to recommend the best solutions.
  • Utilize solution-selling techniques to effectively guide sales process to close
  • Build and maintain professional networks to increase market presence

Qualifications

  • 2 yrs. of B2B with a proven record of success.
  • Knowledge of MS Office software and CRM Software.
  • A quick thinker with the ability to adapt and grow in a competitive environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a strong desire to compete and win.
  • Ability to negotiate and effectively market products and services to perspective clients
  • Self-motivated with an Entrepreneurial spirit, goal-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering successful sales revenue results.
  • Strong business acumen and effectiveness in selling to C-Level executives, business owner, and or decision maker with a consultative approach.
  • Strong work ethics with a drive for over-achievement. Excellent verbal, written communications and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated fearless cold calling skills while prospecting for new business, building a strong pipeline and effective closing skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously while demonstrating outstanding sales productivity and excellent time management skills.
  • Presence and proficiency in social media such as LinkedIn is preferred.
