ERP Lead’s core responsibility is to maintain Oracle eBusiness suite functionality and production support. The ERP Lead will work closely with Business Users to gather, prioritize requirements and resolve issues related to Oracle ERP and other integrated applications.
Capture and communicate new ERP functional and technical requirements in collaboration with business users
Maintain the ERP module configurations. The ERP lead will be responsible for addressing and configuring new data attributes, security, data entry, workflow and business rule enhancements and changes.
Develop and carry out test plans for system upgrades and changes
Investigate and resolve system issues in partnership with Oracle Support as required, including creation and management of Oracle service requests
Provide guidance to business users on best usage of system features
Identify opportunities for the improvement of the system (for example, new upgrades and releases from Oracle)
Maintain documentation to support extensions and set-ups of applications
Participate on other Enterprise initiatives as they relate to the ERP system
Lead a team of developers/analysts to maintain, modify or enhance customizations
College Degree in computer sciences, management information systems (MIS), or related field is required
5-10 Years of hands on ERP functional experience including understanding business requirements, implementing functional configurations and troubleshooting application issues
Oracle EBS release 11.5.x experience is a must.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Specific knowledge and experience required in:
Expertise in Oracle 9i/10g (PL/SQL)
Expertise in Oracle Forms
Expertise in Reports 6i and Oracle Discoverer added advantage
Working experience in Unix, shell scripting
Knowledge of SQL Server
Knowledge in Java is added advantage
Oracle applications functional knowledge especially in Order Management, Account Receivables, Financial, Inventory, Incentive Compensation, Learning Management.
Must be proficient in using tools like MS-Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint etc.
Printer/Copier business experience is an added advantage
