  • Overview

    Under the direct supervision of the Deputy CFO and the other managers in the Deputy CFO group, the Administrative Assistant-Finance &Accounting position in the Deputy CFO group is responsible for performing and supporting administrative functions that include salary calculation and HR support for the Japanese detached staff in cooperation with KDC (Parent Company), various daily finance operations such as validation and double checking for check requests, issuance debit and credit notes to the group companies, back up for Ringi operation (internal approval system) and other administrative support as required by Deputy CFO group. Other responsibilities include reporting, analysis and projects as determined by the Deputy CFO group.

    Responsibilities

    Japanese detached staff administrative jobs

    • Monthly payroll calculation for Japanese detached staff based on Parent Company instruction and information submitted by local Japanese detached staff
    • Support Japanese detached staff who are being transferred or travelling to and from the USA in terms of allowances, transport and applications etc.

    Assistant Job for daily finance operation

    • Daily validation of appropriate amounts, supporting documentation and payments for:
      • All check requests and wire transfer requests.
      • All issued checks and wire payments
    • Issuance of debit or credit note to Parent Company based on requests from related departments
    • Issuance of debit or credit note to Sales companies, subsidiaries and affiliates based on requests from related departments
    • Coordination of debits received from the Parent Company to appropriate internal accounting functions
    • Other requirements related to the Parent Company as needed
    • Back up for Ringi operation (Internal Approval System)
    • Other requirements and support functions as determined by the Deputy CFO group

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • Strong oral and written communication skills both English and Japanese
    • Minimum 3-5 years corporate work experience in HR, accounting or internal controls.
    • Microsoft Excel, Word, Lotus Notes (or outlook), and Oracle (preferred)

     

    Preferred:

    • Knowledge of Accounting
    • Knowledge of Payroll Processing
