  • Overview

    The Warehouse Worker is responsible for day-to-day warehouse operations receiving material shipments into the warehouse, as well as pulling/prepping/securing materials for shipping of scheduled jobs. This position is physical in nature and is deemed heavy work (as defined under Qualifications).

    Responsibilities

    • Handle and maintain of warehouse equipment
    • Safely handle receiving and shipping merchandise
    • Pack and unpack shipping merchandise.
    • Process shipping orders and Dealer Will Calls
    • Maintain safe operation of both a fork truck and lift equipment
    • Ensure warehouse is clean and organized
    • Prepare, provide and receive proper documentation for receipt of goods
    • Perform monthly inventory counts of stocked items
    • In-house assembly work, as required, prior to product shipment (ie: Lockers and carts)
    • Carry out any addition work related instructions by Superiors.

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED:

    •  High School or General Education diploma
    • 1 Year related experience and/or training.
    • Up to date forklift certification
    • Ability to lift and maneuver objects weighing up to 100 lbs., with frequent lifting and or carrying of objects weighing up to 50lbs. 
    • Working knowledge of basic computer skills.
    • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
    • Company paid relocation not provided.  Position based out of Fairfield, NJ.

     

    PREFERRED:

    • Working knowledge of material handling: pull products to complete customer orders; count and update local stock/inventory.
