  • Overview

    Under the direct supervision of the Associate Director, Integrated Marketing Communications, the Digital Experience Manager provides a positive user experience by planning and designing the information structure for websites and other web portals or platforms. This position focuses on the online user audience, the technologies (i.e. Adobe Experience Manager) that are used to create and maintain the sites and provides a level of guidance and governance for content on KYOCERA Document Solutions America Group sites.

     

    A Digital Experience Manager must be able to create content, templates and design implementation strategies by leveraging user behavior and voice of market analysis derived from data tracked through Adobe Analytics; thereby creating media/content structure, interactive experiences, workflow diagrams and other production materials for the Company’s web-based communications systems.  This position must be able to coordinate with internal resources, creative and production agencies and other resources to implement corporate digital experience strategies.

    Responsibilities

    • Identifies user requirements by researching and analyzing user needs, preferences, objectives, and working methods; studying how users consume content, including data categorization and labeling.
    • Plans content (or information) architecture by studying the site concept, strategy, and target audience; envisioning architectural scheme, information structure and features, functionality, and user-interface design; creating user scenarios; preparing data models; designing information structure, work-and dataflow, and navigation; evaluating information representation; conducting creative meetings.
    • Organizes information by translating user behavior into media structure and elements; crafting interactive experiences; producing workflow diagrams, user scenarios, flowcharts, and storyboards; preparing interaction specifications, navigation rules, and organization of content
    • Coordinates with internal and external resources to integrate site concept, visual design, content, interface, meta data and navigational structure; documenting structure and processes.
    • Validates information delivery by developing and completing usability test plans; and evaluating traffic patterns using Adobe Analytics
    • Updates job knowledge by tracking research regarding web design and usability; participating in educational opportunities; and reading professional publications.

    Qualifications

    Required

    • Bachelor’s degree (or) minimum 5 years equivalent experience of digital marketing in a corporate environment
    • Minimum of 3-5 years corporate work experience in digital marketing
    • Working knowledge of Search Engine Optimization and lead generation
    • Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and SQL
    • Working knowledge of Adobe Analytics
    • Working with Content Management Software (Adobe Experience Manager or equivalent)
    • Basic Adobe Creative Suite skills
    • Strong oral and written communications skills (English)
    • Analysis, Planning, Database Management, Self-Motivated, Presenting Technical Information, Problem Solving, Data Modeling, Strategic Planning, Multi-tasking, Ad Hoc Reporting, Data Maintenance
    • Develop information architecture systems for technology development
    • Ability to directly manage outside agencies and/or contract workers as required with limited or no supervision
    • Ability to interact and communicate with many different levels, both internal/external
    • Ability to work on a variety of projects at the same time and ensure these projects are completed by their deadlines
    • Physical requirements: standing, sitting and working with computer
    • Company paid relocation is not provided.  Position is based out of Fairfield, NJ headquarters office
    • Travel, including overnight, up to 20% of the time may be required. Domestic and International

    Preferred:

    • Working knowledge KPI tracking
    • Marketing automation/CRM experience
    • Spanish, Portuguese and/or French fluency
