    The Sr. Business and Strategic Planning Manager supports the activities of the Business Planning function(s) to include channel promotional and profit analysis, supply chain forecasting and trend metrics, key performance indicator (KPI) metric analysis, and all levels of pricing analytics.  Conduct studies, prepare reports and advises on feasibility/cost effectiveness of long/short range strategic growth plans by channel, proposals, special projects and on-going programs to achieve KDA’s growth and profitability objectives.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensures the accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of data.
    • Responsible for development/ maintenance and analysis of spreadsheet data
    • Provide guidance and suggestions for improvements and/or solutions based on data analysis
    • Responsible for pricing strategy, marketing and profitability of specific products
    • Responsible for the analytic compilation of KDS’s identified channel KPI metric analysis
    • Provides monthly actual vs. plan (forecast) vs. MP vs. YOY analysis, channel specific
    • Coordinates with Sales toward 8-mo. forecasting with trending metric analysis
    • Prepares ongoing analysis toward all monthly/quarterly/fiscal related promotions to analyze program effectiveness (ROI)
    • Responsible for the ongoing management of our Kyocera Fleet Services (KFS), and Total Document Solution (TDS) provider programs
    • Communicates regularly with KDC Management toward pricing and support requirements, as well as, all ad hoc business and strategic program requests.

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • 5~8 years of business analytics experience, with 3~5 years of Managerial experience
    • Strong knowledge of financial and strategic planning
    • Experienced toward Budget/Operation and Plan development
    • Good verbal and written communication skills in both English and Japanese
    • Ability to multi-task and establish priorities
    • Exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities
    • Ability to work and interact with all levels of management/departments throughout KDA
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office & Oracle based programs (Discoverer capabilities)
    • Ability to solve problems effectively and efficiently

    Preferred:

    • Bi-lingual Japanese/English
