  • Responsible for administration of Oracle E-Business Suite release R12.2.4, Oracle database release 10g/11g/12c and MS SQL Server database release 2005/2008/2012, Application servers
  • Responsible for cloning, performance tuning, optimization, maintenance, backup and recovery, data security, patch management and migration of all production and non-production databases and applications associated with those databases
  • Responsible for system administration of bolt-on applications associated with Oracle E-Business Suite
  • Work closely with the development teams and system analysts
  • Work in a team environment and share DBA on-call responsibilities across all systems
  • Ability to teach others new skills and knowledge, apply advanced concepts and theories to work assignments



  • Administration and maintenance of Oracle E-Business Suite release R12.2.X, Oracle database release 10g/11g/12c and MS SQL Server database release 2005/2008/2012
  • Administration and maintenance of all applications associated with Oracle and SQL Server databases and all bolt-on (peripheral) applications associated with Oracle E-Business Suite
  • Provide DBA on-call support on a rotational basis with other team members
  • Manage and administer back-up and recovery of Oracle and SQL Server databases including disaster recovery strategies
  • Create new instances, refresh, and clone databases
  • Proactively monitor and tune the database as well as troubleshoot problems in a timely manner
  • Monitor capacity and performance and proactively resolve a wide variety of issues
  • Ensure Oracle and SQL Server environments are up-to-date: installing, configuring, upgrading, applying patches, etc.
  • Contribute substantially to capacity and configuration planning efforts
  • Work with the development, operations, and support teams on projects to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Be capable of supporting multiple projects concurrently
  • Lead and own issues or projects
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Insure database integrity
  • Manage code migrations from development through production
  • Manage database users, roles, grants, and permissions throughout the development, QA, and production databases.
  • Establish and implement effective methods, processes and standards to support internal and external stakeholders.



  • B.S degree with major in Computer Science or equivalent degree
  • 5+ Years IT experience
  • Must have 3+ years of recent Oracle Applications (E-Business Suite) DBA experience (release 12.2.4 or higher)
  • Minimum 3 years knowledge and experience with Oracle database 10g/11g/12c administration
  • Must have 3+ years MS SQL Server database administration experience
  • Good knowledge of AIX and Windows preferably as a power user
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, off-hours and weekends as needed
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Physical requirements: standing, sitting, working with computer, bending, and light lifting.
  • Company relocation is not provided to Fairfield, NJ office. Employee must self-relocate.
