Within the policies and guidelines of KYOCERA Document Solutions America, Inc. and management, the LAD System Support Engineer is responsible for providing pre-sales and post-sales support on Kyocera digital products, with a heavy emphasis on network connectivity and software compatibility issues.


  • To schedule and coordinate networking support, including sales support prior to the sale, during installation in conjunction with the Technical Department, and the dealership.
  • To actively manage the dealer technical support team in the assigned area.  To accomplish this responsibility through effective communications with the dealer network, field sales staff and Dealer Technical Departments.
  • To provide pre-sales and post sales field support to dealers on digitally integrated products.  This will include follow-up training sessions, presentations and participating in sales calls to assist with networking and software related questions.
  • To provide feedback on all training conducted and dealer visitations.  To also assist in the development of new training or support programs and enhancement of field/dealer networking support.
  • Maintain regional showrooms as directed by the LAD Technical Manager.


  • Minimum 5 years working in a technical background with particular emphasis in color imaging, digital black and white and wide format.
  • Minimum 5 years technical experience within the office product industry.
  • Experience with computers (Macintosh, PC and Unix) and networks.
  • Working knowledge of document editing and desktop publishing applications. Prior training on color and digital black and white controllers is also highly desirable.
  • Company paid relocation is not provided to the Miami, FL office. Employee must be willing to self-relocate.  Territory includes Latin America and Caribbean.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to travel 50% (includes overnight).
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish)



  • CNE or MSCE certification is highly desirable.
  • Prior training on color and digital black and white controllers is also highly desirable.
